About the Gotham Ramblers

Formed in 2022 on the South Side of Chicago, the Gotham Ramblers began as a raw-edged three-piece outfit with a passion for Irish folk, heartfelt country, and the timeless power of classic rock. What started with a few jam sessions quickly evolved into something much bigger—something that couldn’t be contained to just the studio or a local pub.

Now a four-piece powerhouse, the Gotham Ramblers have grown into a bold, full-fledged Celtic rock band. Tommy Joe takes the lead with his powerful vocals and electrifying guitar work, known for his ability to read the audience and make every show feel personal. Regina brings the infectious energy, adding melodic richness with the accordion, weaving in a distinctive Celtic charm. Jimmy is the glue of the band, holding everything together with his rock-solid bass lines, while Joe is always happy, but especially when holding a Guinness, with his unique suitcase drum setup giving every beat a heartbeat of its own and driving the band’s energetic sound.

Blending lively Celtic rhythms with driving guitar riffs, rich harmonies, and authentic storytelling that hits straight to the heart, their sound is powered by a bold mix of influences. The band draws on the energy of The Pogues, Dropkick Murphys, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, and Elvis Presley, delivering music that’s as raucous as it is heartfelt. Whether it’s a foot-stomping anthem or a toe-tapping ballad, every song reflects their deep commitment to staying real, raw, and authentic.

Beyond the stage, the Gotham Ramblers organize community performances, special events, and festivals, staying true to their roots while reaching new audiences. The band is currently in the studio recording original songs that bring their unique blend of Celtic rock, heartfelt country, and classic rock swagger to life.

From humble beginnings to packed venues, the Gotham Ramblers continue to evolve—one song, one story, and one unforgettable show at a time.
